The Training and Placement
Cell plays a vital role of ensuring employability of students by imparting placement training through identification of industry requirements.
It is responsible for maintaining and establishing contacts with reputed firms and industries for their recruitment needs and facilitating placement and recruitments for the students by organizing pool campus interviews, Job melas etc.
T&P Cell also organizes career guidance programs, Mock Interviews, Group Discussions, and Communication Skills, Workshop etc. by identifying training needs of the students.
T&P Cell also plays an important role in planning training candidates according to need of industry through continuous interaction in guest sessions, workshops, webinars, industrial visits, research conferences and consultancy work by student and faculty members which results in getting live projects, summer internship and Final placement of our students and also providing Entrepreneur to society for exploring their ideas into commercial ventures.
Entrepreneurship Development
committee at RGCMS is dedicated to promote the spirit of entrepreneurship among students throughout the college. It provides the budding entrepreneurs with a platform to convert their dreams into reality. Organizes activities and events within the college for its students which brings out their entrepreneurial skills with support of start-up Incubation center viz., “Ignition Incubation Center” hosted in Institution premises.
Industrial Visit
Industrial visits for our students are arranged every year to bridge the gap between classroom theoretical training and practical learning in a real-life environment. The objective of an industrial visit is to provide students with an insight into the corporate world. The students get to see the best practices opted by different companies for similar work. Industrial visits offer a great source to gain practical knowledge. The students are exposed to real working environment and shown how things are done in an organisation. From the details about the management to the targets they achieve, everything is covered in these visits. These visits are a great source of learning and they highlight the practical aspects of manufacturing, logistics, and business operations. A teaching faculty usually accompanies students on such visits.
