Activity 1 – Shivaji Jayanti celebrated on 17/02/2024.

Event was planned and conducted by cultural committee students. Students were able study the lives, achievements, and ideologies of notable figures. Student should be able to understand reason behind celebrating Savitri Bhai Jayanti and learn management lessons from the stories.

 

Activity 2 – Gandhi Jayanti celebrated on 02/10/2024.

Event was planned and conducted by cultural committee students. Gandhi Jayanti is celebrated on 2nd October 2024 every year to commemorate the birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi, the Father of the Nation of India. It is a national holiday in India and is observed with great enthusiasm and reverence. It is a time to remember the contributions and sacrifices made by Mahatma Gandhi in shaping India’s freedom struggle and promoting peace and equality. It serves as a reminder of the power of non-violence and the need to uphold Gandhi’s teachings in the pursuit of justice and harmony.

 

Activity 3 – Rajiv Gandhi Jayanti- 20/8/2024

Event was planned and conducted by cultural committee students. Trustee, faculties and students come together this day honors Rajiv Gandhi’s contributions to the nation, especially in the fields of science, technology, and education.

 

Activity 4 – Independence Day celebrated on 15/08/2024

Event was planned and conducted by cultural committee students. Independence Day is a time to celebrate the freedom and independence of a country. It marks the anniversary of a nation’s independence from colonial rule or a significant event that led to the formation of an independent nation.

 

Activity 5 – Jawaharlal Nehru Jayanti celebrated on 14/11/2024.

Event was planned and conducted by cultural committee students. This was celebrated to honors Nehru’s significant role in India’s freedom struggle and in building modern India on

 

Activity 6– Rajeev Gandhi Puniya Tithi celebrated on 21/05/24

Event was planned and conducted by cultural committee students. Rajiv Gandhi Jayanti celebration is a day to remember and honor the legacy of Rajiv Gandhi, who played a crucial role in shaping modern India. Through various commemorative activities, people pay tribute to his leadership, vision, and commitment towards the development and progress of the nation.

 

Activity 7 – Navutsav celebrated on 11/10/2024

This event was conducted was planned and conducted by cultural committee students. Student should be able to understand Cultural Diversity in India. Overall 165 students participated.

 

Activity 8 – Holi celebrated on 13/03/2024

This event was conducted was planned and conducted by cultural committee students. Student should be able to understand the Holi is celebrated to mark the victory of good over evil, the arrival of spring, and to spread joy, love, and unity. It is one of the most vibrant and widely celebrated festivals in India. Overall 125 students participated.

 

Activity 9 –Indira Gandhi Jayanti- 19/11/2024

This event was conducted was planned and conducted by cultural committee students. Indira Gandhi is remembered for her bold leadership, decisive governance, and significant contributions to Indian politics and development

 

Activity 10 – Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Mahaparinirvan Din” – 6/12/2024

This event was conducted was planned and conducted by cultural committee students. Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Mahaparinirvan Din is observed on December 6th every year to mark the death anniversary of Dr. B. R. Ambedkar, the principal architect of the Indian Constitution, a social reformer, jurist, economist, and champion of social justice and equality. It honors Dr. Ambedkar’s contributions to India’s legal, social, and political framework.

 

Activity 11 – Christmas and New Year- 24/12/2024

Event was planned and conducted by cultural committee students. Christmas is celebrated on December 25th to mark the birth of Jesus Christ. It is a festival of love, peace, and giving. People celebrate by decorating, exchanging gifts, and spreading joy. New Year is celebrated on January 1st to welcome the beginning of a new calendar year. It is a time for reflection, hope, and new resolutions. We celebrate with parties, fireworks, and joyful wishes for a fresh start.

 

Activity 12 – Gudipadwa and Eid- 01/4/2025

Gudi Padwa is celebrated as the Marathi New Year, usually in March or April. It marks the beginning of the spring season and is associated with victory and prosperity. Eid is celebrated at the end of Ramadan, the holy month of fasting in Islam. It marks a time of gratitude, forgiveness, and sharing.

 

Activity 13 – Shivaji Jayanti- 18/2/2025

Shivaji Jayanti is celebrated to honor the birth anniversary of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, the great Maratha king. He is remembered for his valor, leadership, and founding the Maratha Empire.The day inspires pride, courage, and respect for India’s rich history and culture.

Activity 7 – Vasant Panchami celebrated on 14/02/2024

Event was planned and conducted by cultural committee students. Vasant Panchami is a significance underscores the celebration of spring, the reverence for Goddess Saraswati, and the agricultural prosperity it heralds. In addition to honouring Goddess Saraswati, the importance of Vasant Panchami also shows divine love between Lord Krishna and Radha .It serves as a reminder to strive for a more inclusive and egalitarian society, where every individual is treated with dignity and respect.

This event was conducted was planned and conducted by cultural committee students. Invites were sent prior to all to the participants. Student should be able to understand Cultural Diversity. Overall 165 students participated.

This event was conducted was planned and conducted by cultural committee students. Invites were sent prior to all to the participants. Student should be able to understand why we celebrate Good Friday students spoke about the importance of Good Friday. Overall 130 students participated.

 

Activity 11 – Mahashivratri celebrated on 07/03/2024

This event was conducted was planned and conducted by cultural committee students. Invites were sent prior to all to the participants. Student should be able to understand why we celebrated Mahashivratri students spoke about the importance of Mahashivratri . Overall 162 students participated.

 

Activity 12 – International Yoga Day celebrated on 21/6/2024

Event was planned and conducted by cultural committee students. International Yoga Day is celebrated on 21st June,2024 every year. It is a day to promote and raise awareness about the benefits of practicing yoga. It is a great opportunity for us to organize various events and activities to celebrate this day and inspire students to embrace the practice of yoga in their daily lives.

Event was planned and conducted by cultural committee students. Students spoke about importance of Mahaveer Jayanti. Overall 158 students participated in the event.

Event was planned and conducted by cultural committee students. Invites were sent prior to all & later certificates were distributed to the participants. Honorarium was paid to Resource person and Appreciation letter was mailed. Student should be able to understand Cultural Diversity. Overall 160 students participated.
