Overview

RGCMS bring in Short Term Courses as they are uniquely schemed to add on various specialised skills and increase employability and entrepreneurship for our students pursuing our professional but conventional course.

The introduction of such add-on courses was a step in the right direction and brought into action to dispel widespread disillusionment with theory-intensive college education.  

Our offered short term courses are mapped with our Program Outcomes of the Institute.

The Certification courses are offered to all regular students of the college at all levels. Even though taking up these courses are not compulsions but are highly encouraged from our end.

Short-term courses are delivered in two phases to students in both academic years of their enrolled program

  1. Technical Ability Enhancement Certifications which are aligned with Courses to eliminate the curriculum gap e.g. Advanced Excel Course, Specialised SAP Modules, Derivatives Course, etc.
  2. Skill Development Certifications which are aligned with Students training needs to eliminate the employability gap e.g. Soft Skill development Course, Mock Trainings on Group Discussion, Interview program, Communication skills upgrade etc.

Advanced Excel Training Program

    To learn the advanced utility of MS Excel application that help improve technical work efficiency in data driven decision making
  3. Description
    The Course takes a candidate through real time training of MS Excel tool & its optimum utilization enabling them to be efficient with any & every kind of work done on the application.
    The course is designed to cover 14 Sections in Excel application followed by evaluation through a systematized Microsoft Excel online examination.

    At Program level, this course is mapped with our second Program Outcome (PO2) where the course is aligned at a medium level of importance in fostering analytical abilities for data based decision making.
    At Course level, this course is mapped to subjects such as Business Statistics, Financial Accounting, Cost & Management Accounting & Operations management as it improved the technical expertise of the students thus helping them to be efficient in learning such management subjects

    The Course takes a candidate through real time training of function based SAP Modules & its optimum utilization enabling them to be efficient with any & every kind of work done on the application.
    The course is designed to offer a specific business function SAP Modules as covered under a core specialization chosen by the candidate namely
    Marketing – SD (Sales & distribution)
    Finance – FI-CO & GST (Finance & Controlling)
    Human Resources – HR module
    IT & systems – ABAP module
    Operations – MM (Material Management)
    Followed by a project assignment submission.
