1. Orientation Program – CPBFI by Bajaj Finserv

The T&P Committee organized an orientation session for the Certificate Program in Banking, Finance and Insurance (CPBFI) in collaboration with Bajaj Finserv for Batch 2024–26 (AY 2025–26).
The session introduced students to the program structure, curriculum, assessment process, and industry relevance in the BFSI sector.
Mr. Sushant Parakh from Bajaj Finserv guided students on bridging the gap between academics and corporate expectations.
Students gained insights into emerging trends and career opportunities in Banking, Financial Services, and Insurance.
The program aims to enhance employability by equipping students with industry-aligned technical and soft skills.

 

2. Guest Lecture – Awareness Session on Stock Market by Bombay Stock Exchange

An awareness session on the Stock Market was conducted for Batch 2025–27 (AY 2025–26) by Mr. Deepak Vekaria from the Bombay Stock Exchange.
The session provided students with practical knowledge of stock market functioning and trading concepts.
Students learned about investment opportunities, market trends, and financial literacy. Real-world insights helped them understand informed decision-making in equity markets. The session enhanced students’ financial awareness and interest in capital markets.

 

3. Guest Lecture – Awareness Session on Commodity Market by Multi Commodity Exchange of India Ltd

An expert session on the Commodity Market with a focus on Base Metals was conducted for Batch 2025–27 (AY 2025–26).
Mr. Dhiren Charania from MCX explained commodity trading, investment strategies, and market operations.
Students gained insights into base metal price movements and influencing factors. The session created awareness about trading and investment opportunities in commodity markets. It strengthened students’ understanding of commodities and market dynamics.

 

4. Guest Lecture – Campus to Corporate by Mr. Venkat Panchangam

The Campus to Corporate session was organized to prepare students for professional life and workplace expectations.
The program focused on communication skills, teamwork, resume building, and interview preparation.

Students received practical guidance on corporate etiquette and personality development. The interactive session helped bridge the gap between academic learning and industry requirements. It empowered students to confidently transition from campus to corporate careers.

 

5. NASTECH Training – Advanced Excel

The T&P Committee organized NASTECH Training for Batch 2025–27 (AY 2025–26) to enhance technical competencies.
The program covered Advanced Excel .Students received hands-on training in Advanced Excel The structured sessions concluded with an Advanced Excel examination to assess practical skills. The initiative strengthened students’ industry readiness and improved employability prospects.

 

6. Career Placement Readiness Training Programme – Executive Shiksha

The Career Placement Readiness Training Programme was conducted for FYMMS students of Batch 2025–27 (AY 2025–26).
The structured training covered communication skills, presentation skills, leadership, interview techniques, and business etiquette. Special focus was given to resume building, LinkedIn profiling, personal branding, and email drafting. Interactive sessions, peer reviews, and one-to-one counselling enhanced career preparedness. The program effectively bridged the gap between academia and industry expectations, improving placement readiness

 

7. NASTECH Training – Power BI

The T&P Committee organized the NASTECH Power BI Training for Batch 2025–27 (AY 2025–26) at the college premises to strengthen students’ data analytics and visualization skills.
The 25-hour program covered Power BI fundamentals, Power Query, data modeling, calculated measures, dashboard creation, and advanced data visualizations. Students gained hands-on experience in building interactive reports, applying data transformation techniques, and creating business dashboards. The training concluded with a Power BI Examination to assess practical understanding and technical proficiency.

A Capstone Project was also undertaken, where students developed end-to-end dashboards using real-world datasets, demonstrating their industry readiness and applied learning outcomes.

A.Y. 2024-2025

Soft Skill Training in Collaboration with Squad InfoTech

RGCMS students are actively participating in soft skills training sessions in collaboration with Squad InfoTech. These sessions focus on enhancing their social abilities, enabling them to interact effectively and improve their presentation skills. The primary objective is to help students become self-confident individuals by mastering interpersonal, team management, and leadership skills. Through these trainings, students learn to communicate more effectively, work efficiently in teams, and take on leadership roles with confidence. This initiative aims to equip them with the essential soft skills needed for their personal and professional growth.

 

Seminar on Financial Literacy

Rajeev Gandhi College of Management Studies (RGCMS) in Ghansoli, Navi Mumbai, is hosting a session on “Financial Literacy” on Thursday, 25th July 2024. The event will start at 11:00 AM in the G2 Classroom. The session aims to enhance participants’ understanding of financial concepts and improve their ability to manage personal and professional finances effectively. Dr. Hiral Trivedi Pathak will be the speaker. RGCMS, affiliated with the University of Mumbai and approved by AICTE and DTE, is organizing this event in collaboration with BSE Investors Protection Fund and WX Consultants (P) Ltd.

 

Resume Preparation

A Resume Preparation session was conducted for Batch 2024–25 students. The session focused on creating professional and impactful resumes. Students were guided on showcasing their skills, achievements, and strengths effectively. It helped them gain confidence for future placement opportunities.

 

CPBFI Certificate Program in Banking, Finance & Insurance (CPBFI)

The T&P Committee organized a 90-hour Banking, Finance & Insurance training in collaboration with Bajaj Finserv for FYMMS students.A total of 40 students enrolled and successfully completed the program, receiving certificates from Bajaj Finserv.The sessions focused on enhancing employability, analytical skills, and critical thinking aligned with PO2 outcomes.Students gave positive feedback, highlighting the program as a valuable learning and upskilling experience.

 

Advance Excel & Power BI Training by Deepak Garg for Batch 2024-

An Advance Excel & Power BI Training session was conducted by Mr. Deepak Garg for Batch 2024. The training focused on data analysis, visualization, and practical business applications. Students gained hands-on experience with advanced tools and techniques. The session proved highly beneficial in enhancing their technical and analytical skills.

A.Y. 2023-2024

Offline Resume preparation session was conducted for Batch 23-25 students by T&P Committee. 75 students participated.

Pre-placement Training was conducted by Ms. Aarti Sahu. An offline Resume Preparation session was organized for Batch 2023–25 students by the T&P Committee. A total of 75 students participated enthusiastically in the session.The session guided students on effective resume building and presenting their skills professionally. Additionally, a Pre-placement Training session was conducted by Ms. Aarti Sahu.

Both sessions proved highly valuable in preparing students for upcoming placement opportunities.

 

A.Y. 2022-2023

Offline Resume preparation session was conducted for Batch 22-24 students by T&P Committee. 25 students participated.
