Guru Purnima Celebration

The activity on 20.06.2024 marked the celebration of Guru Purnima, honoring teachers’ dedication and guidance.
Students shared thoughts on the importance of gurus, and faculty were felicitated with a rose and tilak.
The Director delivered a speech, and teachers expressed gratitude for the students’ respect.
The event concluded with a group photo, attended by 103 students, with feedback collected and analyzed.

 

Teacher’s Day Celebration

The activity on 05.09.2024 celebrated Teacher’s Day, honoring teachers for their efforts and dedication.
Students highlighted the role of teachers and shared personal experiences and memories with faculty.
Faculty were felicitated with roses, followed by the Director’s speech and expressions of gratitude from teachers.
The celebration ended with a cake-cutting ceremony, group photo, and feedback collection from 60 students.

 

Fresher’s Celebration

The Fresher’s Event on 08.10.2024 warmly welcomed the MMS batch of 2024–26.
The program began with the Director’s welcome speech, followed by fun competitions.
Mr. & Ms. Freshers were crowned, and the celebration continued with food and entertainment.
Attended by 60 students, the event ended with feedback collection and analysis.

 

Student Body Elections 24-25

The Student Body Elections 2024–25 process began with nominations on 26.10.2024, followed by General Secretary elections on 18.11.2024, and the final announcement on 21.11.2024.
Students were encouraged to nominate themselves to develop leadership and managerial skills.
Voting was conducted fairly, followed by interviews of G.S. contenders with the faculty panel.
With 38 students enrolled, the process concluded with the official announcement and feedback analysis for improvement.

 

Traditional Day

The activity on 26.11.2024 celebrated cultural diversity with students wearing state-wise traditional attire.
A ramp walk and fun moments helped create memorable experiences and promote inclusivity.
Small surprises were given to the best dressed participants.
The event saw 50 students’ participation and ended with feedback collection and analysis.

 

Saree and Tie Day

The activity on 22.11.2024 promoted gender awareness and inclusivity with girls in sarees and boys in ties.
Students celebrated together, creating memorable moments and fostering unity.
Best dressed participants received small surprises as tokens of appreciation.
The event, attended by 60 students, concluded with feedback collection and analysis.

 

Farewell’s celebration

The Farewell Event on 19.04.2025 for the batch of 2023–25 was filled with nostalgia and warm wishes.
It began with the Director’s farewell speech, followed by a video montage of student memories.
Faculty shared blessings and encouragement, while students enjoyed cake and food together.
Attended by 76 students, the event concluded with feedback collection and analysis.

 

Human Ludo

Human Ludo” was organized on 21st October 2024 at 2:00 PM in the Multi-Purpose Hall, RGCMS, Ghansoli.
The event aimed to teach strategic planning, patience, adaptability, and emotional intelligence.
It began with an inauguration by the Director, faculty, and Judge, followed by exciting life-sized Ludo
competitions.
A distinguished panel of judges included Mr. Hemraj P, Mr. Milind D, and RGCMS alumna Ms. Sonali Gharat and
the FYMMS students team won the event

 

FIT INDIA WEEK 2024

Rajeev Gandhi College of Management Studies organized a three-day Fit India Week from 2nd to 4th December
2024 to promote fitness and a healthy lifestyle.
The program began with an inauguration followed by a yoga session led by Ms. Manya Chandnani, with 200+
participants
On the second day, a Tug of War event fostered teamwork, strength, and collaboration among departments.
The week concluded with a friendly cricket match, successfully spreading awareness about fitness, teamwork,
and well-being.

A.Y. 2023-24

Fresher’s Celebration

The Fresher’s Event for the MMS batch of 2023–25 at RGCMS was a joyful welcome organized by seniors.
It began with the Director’s speech, followed by fun competitions for juniors.
Mr. & Ms. Freshers were crowned after engaging rounds.
The celebration concluded with food, fun, and warm wishes for the new journey ahead.

 

Student Body Elections

The Student Body Elections 2023–24 were conducted to re-elect the team, including deputy secretaries, representatives, and the General Secretary.
FYMMS students were notified to submit nominations, followed by circulation of the voting form for the General Secretary election.
Interviews were held with G.S. contenders and the faculty panel to finalize selections.
The process concluded with the official announcement and feedback collection for transparency and improvement.

 

Mismatch and meme Day

Mismatch and Meme Day had students recreating meme characters or scenes and wearing mismatched outfits.
Students participated in a ramp walk, enjoyed activities, and created memorable college moments.
The event promoted inclusivity, with small surprises for the best dressed.
Feedback was collected to ensure continuous improvement of the activity.

 

Saree, Tie Day & Rosegram

Saree and Tie Day – Rosegram and Dedication Day had girls in sarees and boys in ties, with students dedicating roses or notes to peers.
Participants wrote messages or song dedications, creating fun and memorable experiences.
The event promoted inclusivity, with small surprises for the best dressed.
Feedback was collected to ensure continuous improvement of the activity.

Farewell Celebration -Batch 2022-24

The Farewell Celebration for Batch 2022–24 was held on 28th April 2024 in the RGCMS Auditorium with 60 students. Organized by juniors, the event began with a warm welcome speech by faculty, recalling achievements and memories. Highlights included fun competitions, the crowning of Mr. & Ms. Farewell, and a nostalgic video montage. Faculty shared best wishes, followed by a lively celebration with food and music, marking a memorable send-off.

 

Cultural – ZEST

The Cultural Fest “Zest” was organized to celebrate cultural diversity and provide students a platform to learn teamwork and leadership. It featured engaging events like Business Quiz, Rangoli, Face Painting, Mehendi, Singing, Dance, Fashion Show, and Instrumental performances. The fest aimed to enhance student coordinators’ organizational, leadership, and communication skills while showcasing participants’ creativity. Winners and participants were recognized with certificates and cash prizes, making the event both educational and memorable.

 

Sports – ZEST

The Annual Zest Sports 2023 was held on 1st, 3rd, and 4th December with over 90 student registrations.
Eight indoor and outdoor sports were conducted, including Arm Wrestling, Carrom, Table Tennis, Neon Cricket, Badminton, Chess, Tug of War, and Box Cricket.
Student volunteers managed each event, ensuring active participation and smooth coordination.
Winners were honored with trophies, medals, certificates, and cash prizes, with sponsorship from GRAHDSIGNS.

A.Y. 2022-23

Student Body Elections

As part of the Student Body Committee, nominations and elections were conducted for the posts of General Secretary, coordinators, deputy co-coordinators, and committee members.
For the G.S. election, FYMMS students submitted nominations via a Google form.
The process concluded with the official Student Body Announcement Ceremony.

 

Cultural – ZEST

The Cultural Fest “Zest” was held on 16th–17th December 2022 at RGCMS Auditorium, organized by the Cultural
Committee with 199 registrations and 30 performances. The event, themed Halloween, aimed to enhance
leadership, communication, and teamwork skills of student coordinators while showcasing creativity of
participants. Activities included Business Quiz, Rangoli, Face Painting, Mehendi, Singing, Dance, Stand-up
Comedy, and a Fashion Show.
With a budget of ₹2,00,000, the fest concluded successfully with certificates, cash prizes, and structured
feedback collection.

 

Ram Navmi

A cultural event on 31st March 2023 at venue G2 was organized by the Cultural Committee with 170
participants.
The objective was to help students understand cultural diversity through active participation.
Students highlighted the importance of Ram Navmi, sharing its cultural and spiritual significance.
Both FYMMS and SYMMS students took part, making the event engaging and meaningful.

 

Farewell

The Farewell for SYMMS Batch 2021–2023 was organized on 18th April 2023 at 11:00 am in the Auditorium.
Planned and conducted by the Cultural Committee, the event aimed to bid adieu to the graduating batch.
Both FYMMS and SYMMS students actively participated, making the farewell memorable.
The program celebrated student journeys with warmth and togetherness.

 

Mahavir Jayanti

The Mahaveer Jayanti celebration was held on 5th April 2023 at 12:30 pm in G2, organized by the Cultural
Committee with 158 participants.
The objective was to help students understand the reason and significance behind celebrating Mahaveer
Jayanti.
Students shared insights on its cultural and spiritual importance.
Both FYMMS and SYMMS students actively participated in the event.

 

Navutsav

A workshop on Cultural Diversity was conducted online on 27th September 2022 at 12:30 pm, organized by the
Cultural Committee with 160 participants.
The event was planned by student coordinators, with invites sent beforehand and certificates distributed
afterward.
An honorarium was given to the resource person along with an appreciation letter.
Participants actively engaged in the session, showing keen interest and asking queries.

 

Hanuman Jayanti

An event on Hanuman Jayanti was held on 6th April 2023 at 12:05 pm in G2, organized by the Cultural Committee
with 169 participants.
The objective was to understand teachings and learnings of Hanuman ji as a Management Guru.
Students highlighted the significance of Hanuman Jayanti and shared valuable lessons.
Both FYMMS and SYMMS students actively participated in the program.

 

RGCMS NAAC Cultural

A Peer Visit event was organized on 3rd February 2023 at 6:00 pm in the RGCMS Auditorium by the Cultural
Committee with 169 participants.
The theme focused on Cultural Diversity and Religious Unity, promoting inclusiveness and harmony.
The event was planned and executed by cultural committee students.
Both FYMMS and SYMMS students actively participated, making it successful and engaging.

 

Shivaji Jayanti

The Shivaji Jayanti celebration was held on 15th February 2023 at 10:00 am in G2, organized by the Cultural Committee with 158 participants. The objective was to understand the reason behind celebrating Shivaji Jayanti and learn management lessons from his stories. Students highlighted Shivaji Maharaj’s significance, linking his leadership to modern management practices.
The event, mapped to PO1 and PO5, saw active participation from FYMMS and SYMMS students, with feedback collected and analyzed.

 

Sports Fest 2022

The Sports Activity was conducted on 16th, 18th, and 19th December 2022 with the objective of encouraging student participation in indoor and outdoor sports.
A budget of ₹69,100 was fully utilized for equipment, infrastructure, and awards.
A total of 488 registrations were received across 8 sports: Carrom, Chess, Arm Wrestling, Tug of War, Box Cricket, Badminton, Treasure Hunt, and Volleyball.
Winning teams and participants were honored with trophies, medals, certificates, and cash prizes, making the event highly engaging and successful.
