Student Support – Mentoring
Preface
Mentoring at RGCMS is continuous process for students. RGCMS believes in empowering and guiding the students & alumnus at every step of their journey of MMS at RGCMS and also during their career progression. Uniquely designed mentoring program helps mentees (students) to discuss academic and non-academic related topics with their mentor.
There are various issues which are discussed in this program, such as career planning, academic planning, summer internship projects and final project planning.
Students are allocated to respective faculty members for mentoring at the start of academic session for entire program.
Objectives
- To build good relationship & rapport with students
- To solve various problems related to academics and non-academics with continuous discussion with students
- To guide and help students in career planning and helping him/her in deciding specialization
- To encourage students for exploring various avenues related to professional growth
- To encourage students to attend seminar, workshops and conferences
Frequency of Interactions
- Mentor – Mentee Interactions must happen at least once at the start of each semester or
- As per discretion of the Mentor to discuss certain specific topic (call for meeting must be notified at least 2 days prior) or
- Whenever a mentee has any concern/ issue to regards any academic and non-academic related topics.
