Placement Cell Plays an important role in planning and training candidates according to the need of industry through continuous interaction in guest sessions, workshops, webinars, industrial visits, research conferences and consultancy work by student and faculty members. It results in getting live projects, summer internship and Final placement of our students and also providing Entrepreneur to society for exploring their ideas into commercial ventures.

Placement
Objectives
- To facilitate final recruitment of the Students
- To provide exposure through internship to MMS pursuing students.
- To establish and maintain relationships with industries for their recruitment requirements.
- To facilitate industry and academia interaction.
Our placement cell is supported by a competent placement committee. The cell has built strong links with the industry, understanding their needs, and gearing up by keeping a track of student progress so that we are able to provide the best of opportunities to our graduating students.
Functions
T&P Cell is responsible for coordinating all the Training and Placement activities, which include Summer Internship and Final placement.
- To help students get summer internship in respective specialization.
- To conduct career guidance seminars / workshops / counseling regarding avenues open after graduation. i.e. Higher education, placements, or entrepreneurship
- To identify students who want jobs, pursue higher education or entrepreneurship
- To maintain resume-books of all the students
- To organize training programs as per industry requirements.
- To identify students training needs and requirement and train in following
- Personality Development and soft skills
- Aptitude
- Stress Management
- Coordinate / conduct training as per schedule and academic calendar
- To design, develop and print placement brochure (Hard copy and digital print)
- To allocate companies to student volunteers’ group for helping in the campus interviews and get detailed report regarding campus interview in prescribed format.
- To organize Pre- Placement Training’s, resume-writing session, mock interviews, GD etc.
- To ensure that all students prepare resumes in prescribed format.
- To maintain good relations with the recruiters.
- To promote the resume of all candidates to various prospective employers for placement and internship.
- Managing Recruiters correspondence and feedbacks.
- To facilitate Placement presentation by the recruiters
- Planning and organizing various Placement drives, pool campus drives and job melas.
- To ensure placement of maximum students through recruitment drives.
- To maintain a record of Placed students, joined students, students going for higher studies and entrepreneurs.
- To monitor progress of Placement activities at regular intervals and report to Chairperson
- To maintain a dossier of each student which will include Mentor forms, performance of the students in various platforms/ activities/ appreciation and grievances related to behavioral attributes of the students.
- To get Feedback regarding campus interview process from the recruiters (employers)
- To get feedback form students regarding T&P Cell.
- To get feedback from the employers as per PEO requirement.
Industry Institute Interaction Cell (IIIC)
Objectives:
- To bridge the gap between academia and industry to make student employable.
- To establish Centre of Excellence by industry to provide an opportunity to work in real time projects.
- To promote various collaborative activities by the faculty members and students with industry.
- To make awareness on industry trends & opportunities
Functions of the Committee
- Sign formal MoUs with industries.
- Facilitate faculty–industry exchange.
- Arrange industrial visits to provide practical exposure to industrial workflows, technologies, and workplace culture.
- Collect feedback from industry on student performance.
- Use platforms like LinkedIn, webinars, and virtual networking events to maintain ongoing engagement with industry experts.

IIIC Events
International Industrial Visit
Objective of Activity:To learn operations functions and overall management at various companies, while experiencing the social and cultural aspects of the visited place.
Overview:
- The IV committee organized an international industrial visit in collaboration with Trusty Travels.
- Visited Industries: SR Packaging Industry LLC, VITAL Factory LLC.
- The trip spanned 5 days and included visits to 2 industries along with various tourist destinations.
- Students actively engaged by asking questions and receiving answers during the visits.
- The visit not only enhanced their understanding of management functions but also instilled a sense of social awareness, team cohesiveness, leadership, and management skills among the students.
- Correlates with Program Outcomes PO1, PO2, and PO4.

SBOBC- Social Business Online Boot Camp (SBOBC) 2024
- Social Business Online Boot Camp (SBOBC) 2024, the online boot camp was jointly organized by the Daffodil International University, Bangladesh and Rajeev Gandhi College of Management Studies (RGCMS), Ghansoli (Navi Mumbai). The Joint Program was conducted for 2 days, 30-31 January 2024.
- Objective of the Boot Camp:
- Foster cross-cultural learning and encourage socially responsible business models.
- Organize a signed MOU and academic collaboration event between RGCMS & DIU.
- Familiarize students with the diverse perspectives of business, creativity, and learning.
- Cultivated social awareness, team cohesiveness, leadership, and management skills among participants.
